![]() ![]() It works the same for other types of income, such as industry, culture etc. So if you have a "Grain" resource (for example you control Aegyptos province) you'll be wanting to build Farms or Storage Pits, but not Herding Grounds. Oh and if it says "all sources" its a bonus to every kind of income from that settlement/province. It won't effect "livestock (agriculture.)" If the bonus is to "farming (agriculture)" then it will only effect that specific kind of agriculture. If the bonus is to "agriculture" it will effect all kinds of agriculture. The way bonuses work depend on whether they target just the type or the subtype as well. Perhaps.does anyone have a resource for what would be the most economically sound buildings for a given province/resource type, and perhaps by which building tree one has access to?īasically you have income type and income subtype (not official terms, just how I think of them.) This is usually listed as "subtype (type.)" It kind of seems like the more "civilized" peoples have a clear distinction between economic and military structures, whereas the Celts and Germans are kind of mixed up. ![]() Like, Easterners have a building which boosts tax revenue (is that worth it?), Barbarians have economic buildings which provide new military recruitment options, etc. Perhaps someone could help me to clarify something: when a building says that it provides a bonus to farming (agriculture), does it only provide a bonus to farming buildings, or all agriculture buildings? So for example, in Magna Graecia, would I want to build farms and grain storage, but avoid cattle herds, since it provides income as livestock (agriculture)? Same thing with manufacturing (industry), mining (industry), commerce, culture, etc.?Īlso, while it is pretty clear the division between economic buildings for Greeks and Latins, those for Easterners and Barbarians is a bit murkier to me. In Rome II, what are some strategies to maximize economic output? I understand part of it might be to seek to control entire provinces, and focus on whichever bonuses the settlements give you (for example, a gold settlement giving a bonus to mining, so focus on mining, a grain settlement giving a bonus to farming, so focus on farming, etc.).
